Lawyer - Miles Ketley
Miles qualified at boutique media firm Campbell Hooper in 1994 before moving on to Olswang. In 1999 he moved to LA and became vice president of Legal Affairs for Fox Searchlight Pictures, co-founding Twentieth Century Fox's digital production company, SearchLab. In 2004 he moved back to the UK to establish the Film & TV practice at Wiggin. Miles represents US and international studios, broadcasters, independent producers and talent across all aspects of the film and TV production and finance business, from rights acquisition and production through distribution. He advises leading television broadcasters and produces and structures film and television productions in order to take advantage of UK and European financing incentives and subsidies. He continues to act for producers and other talent across the spectrum of the film and television industries from studios to first time players.
Motion Graphics and Design - Thorsten Ulbrich
Thorsten first worked alongside Johnny producing all the motion graphics for the BBC3 series The Message and the pair re-united recently as Thorsten handled a stunning array of work for Acts of Godfrey. This work in particular displayed how co-ordinated creative thinking allied to efficient preparation and execution can lead to state of the art motion graphics of the very highest quality.
Music Production – Karl Derfler
Karl has worked with a huge array of musical talent from Foo Fighters to No Doubt but has become best known for his close collaboration for the past ten years with Tom Waits. Having met in 1994 when Karl produced an EP for Johnny’s band Fin they paired up again in 2010 as Karl mixed every piece of music for Acts of Godfrey and then went on to mix Johnny’s forthcoming album A False Parade. As well as being one of the world’s finest recording engineer/producers, Karl is also a Pro Tools developer and a huge asset to any music or film project.
